Question about the Radion 9800 pro- Need help!

Post by Truggy »

Ok, i got my new computer, and got an S-video thing, im gonna use that to put together a movie type thing. Will it kill my FPS (frames per second), with a video game, for having it attached to a TV from the s-video, into an RF thing, then into my tv, thats what i need to know. Thanks!

Ok, i play a game called Planetside. I bought a thing to convert Analog video cameras into USB to put it into my computer. This thing say i put beavis and butthead the movie in the vcr of this tv. I could hook it up thru co-ax i think its calle,d and put it into my computer. But, im going to use the S-video to record me playing some games, so i can make it into like a little parody....get my drift? But will it kill my FPS (frames per second) if i record while im playin, or even have it hooked up....thats my question

My thinking is it might kill you FPS on a game, during recording or playback of the video, but not when you are not doing anything with the connection.

Yes, indeed, if your PC is trying to play a game, it's not going to want to have to capture video as well! If your card has a TV out option, record the game onto video, then play back into PC and capture it then, otherwise you will more than likley get dropped frames.

Is that what you're talking about ?

If so, it's hard to tell if it would work well as i dont know your pc's configuration.

You can have a radeon 9800 pro and get good results as you can have a radeon 9800 pro and get shitty results.
