Swords that spark

Post by Grant »

Just a quick little note that may be of interest to people.
I used to be a professional sword fighter for lives shows, film etc.
I experimented a lot producing a spark when the swords clash.
I have achieved this by coating the blade in flint.
Also i achieve this by hooking the 2 swords up to car batterys vie the pummel and hiding the cables down the sleeves.

The flint works well. In the daylight also. What type of swords are you using and steel type?

You mean Katanas?

Folded stainless will also "fold" and bend fairly easily
