Colour Nightscope GS50

Post by ju88a »

Hi peeps, Any tips on filming using the colour night scope on the GS50 to get the best framerate? I noticed on a tripod it was much better and with auto fucus on!(sorry couldn't resist the Bo'Selecta bit...UK only joke..sorry!) As you have one Matt have you used it for night shots or have ya binned the idea and used lights instead I have to shoot a nightscene where we are selling a pound of cocaine to a dealer on a mountain bike at night. The location is on the seafront of my home town Eastbourne, which is fairly bright due to loads of coloured lights hanging on posts all along the seafront. The scene where the exchange takes place will be static..not moving, but the police see us and we jump in a car and the dealer rides off, we will be filming a short scene of him riding off in a driving car...a bit ambitious me thinks for a first outing but hey. Any help or advise would be lapped up...constuctive plz.
