SPECIAL EFFECTS PROGRAMS THAT ARE EASY TO USE

Post by theharibokid »

I am a film maker who is after a 3d effects creation program that is easy to use. I like how you created the building explosion and helipcopter and wondered how and what you did it with.

Thanks !:)

My budget is less than £300, and wondered what the easy product was to use.

umm well 3d isn't a piece of cake, especially if you are looking to create something like the helicopter or building explosion.

he's right, what you should do untill you can get a bigger budget is just plan out films that don't require 3D.

but since he wants a program that is easy to use i definitely WOULD NOT recommend blender. it doesnt make any sense at all. plus it runs from DOS. hahaha

once you get a bigger budget i would suggest 3d Studio Max (aka 3ds Max) or Lightwave. I haven't seen much work from cinema 4d so i can't really form an opinion on it yet.

s***, i had no idea that i am a rocket scientest! Geezz people Blender really isnt that hard, and WTF is wrong with running from dos? It doesnt look like it runs from dos only reason you guys know is cause of the window....and how do you think the apple version works huh? to quote from our "fav" movie "free your mind" you guys should just go with it, and if you cant figure out something, ask me or find it your self on tut sites.
as for insert - HAHAHAHAHA you really hate people that come here and ask stupid a** questions they could have found out on their own, dont you?
Haribokid - i recomend blender 3d, you can get it at blender3d.org...or there is another prog called wings 3d but i cant vouge for it cause i havent tried it.

well, i guess...
I used to be real confused by blender when i first got it. At first i opened it got scared and ran away hehehe, but after awile i got the hang of it, i guess the only advice i have is stay open minded, find beginers tuts and stick to what the "pros" say in the tuts.

I consider running under DOS a good thing, a lot less of a waste of resources!!! Besides, all WIndoze is is a gui interface for the command line :)

i'd be willing to bet a lot of money that 19 out of 20 people give up on blender.

I thought I was just inept at learning 3D and impatient.

im glad you guys confirmed what I was thinking - its an awful piece of software!!!

well - al credit to the programmers - its probably powerful, but its a b**ch to learn.

i gave up!!
