Goodbye Laughter -- New Film
This film was created for a multimedia class as the final assignment and after taking two days to film last month I finally got around to finishing the film. I debated with myself whether I wanted to use text as narration or an actual person. It turns out I just don't know anybody with a great narrator voice so I went with the text.
This film is about Adam Kweller and an account of his life as he loses his laughter by gambling it away to Damion and yes, Damion and the Devil have correlation as a meaning in this film.
Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Great job. Those running shots turned out nicely....
Who ever said digital is better than film should hang for treason.

One thing I really haven't understood is how you dudes who always help me with films question what I am doing. I'd think by now there'd be a sort of trust bond between each other. I'm not saying everyone does it often...just every now and then.
Anyway, anybody else have an critique or just something to say that isn't provocative and immature?

Ah! Keeping your thread on the front page i see.
I've got nothing to say besides that create/created thing we talked about earlier.

I really liked it.
Wonderfully shot and cut, and the acting was nice too.
The only criticism I can think of is that there were some grammar/spelling mistakes in the subtitles that I picked up on that I'd go through and correct if I were you.
Also, I can't help feeling that voice-over narration would have been more effective than the subtitles... But if you couldn't find a suitable voice for it, I guess that's cool.
Keep it up, man.

I love trust bonds! Who questioned what? I'll kill them!

I really liked it! Funny little story and it was shot really well.
My only problem with it was the subtitles. I understand your problem you had with narrators but it's so much easier to see what's going on when you're not busy reading the text at the bottom of the screen
But yeah, keep making more like this!
I can never get over those mountains you live by! You're lucky to live in such a photogenic place

my only problem would be to stablize it in After FX or something... just to give it that one more push for film look

Hey, that was pretty good! Funny, the first time I watched it through, I had absolutely no idea what was going on. The second time I picked up everything.
And that running shot was just awesome.

Clarence are you talking about the ones from the side that begins with one person in frame and ends with all three?
Hey Kentertainment, I thought this was a really humourous little film - the whip pans were used extremely well and gelled the whole narrative together. I especially liked the part with the other car bumping into Damien's car at the beginning - it was kind of going really slow (I can only imagine you didn't want to inflict REAL damage on the cars) but because of this it added to the humour.
Good show, old bean.

Awsome! Everything was so good (that camera you used seems to be the s***), amazing camerawork (alittle too shaky at times). About the subtitles, I liked them because I didn't have some annoying narrator plus I could enjoy the music: but I kinda got bored with them after awhile. I thought maybe changing them up rather than being static.
