1 minute scene - lighting experiment
hey. very short scene. first time we experimented with lighting too... well... we only had one little light to work with and it was filmed in quite a bright room... we wanted to achieve a night time look.

I'm gonna change the opening shot of the clock, it's a little too shakey.

its good, id invest in a tripod, itd make it alot better, both look and style, it seems (the shakeyness) is makeing it look too fast when this is a slow scene,
and if you want it to look like night, don't show the window!!!!!

Yes it was good but yeah I think for that particular style/look you were going for you should have a tripod. Hell you should definetly own a tripod so you have the choice of having a movie hand-held-ed or tripod-ed.

I actaully never use a tripod except for very specific shots and I always manage to get steady shots or at least as steady as i want them to be. I can't stand static shots. Not that I'm saying i like the camera all over the place, but a little movement keeps things more interesting IMO.
The problem here is that to blur out the background I had to go far away and zoom in close, so even the slightest shake is amplified. The only shots i would have redone with a tripod here are the inital clock shot and one of the close ups of the mobile.
