Capturing in adobe pro 2

hey iv got adobe premiere pro but when i go to capture it doesnt recognise the camera. If i go into another program like windows movie maker it can capture but i want to capture it in a really good quality. Just wondering would i need a firewire cable because im usung usb cable at the moment or wats going on

yep, cost me $40 for the pci firewire card and cable... i bought ppro without knowing i needed it

I got a $30 firewire card/cable combo which is a good deal but could have probably affected the performance since it cost so little. I now use the one built into my new iMac.
