does anyone know if i can shoot 16mm and go striaght to minidv transfer. Without develpoing the 16mm film.

no you need to develop and then get a digital transfer. transfering to dv ends up costing more than just shooting and editing on film

how about shoot film > develop, cut rough, > transfer? work out cheaper. have to have a rethink then

When you develop the film, have them print it to tape so that you can record the footage directly onto your DV camera from the VCR.
