Adding transitions in Vegas 6

I just bought Vegas 6 and was playing around with it.. how do you add transitions between 2 clips of video?

I read the hlp file, but that didn't seem to help me. So far Vegas seems easier to use than Adobe Premiere if I can get the hang of this much first.

It is easier. To add a transiton you can drag the clips to the point that the overlap or go to transitions tab at the bottom and drag on to the timeline.
