Video Compression

Post by rhys »

Hey,
Since a couple of previous posts, i have been thinking.
How should i compress my videos for the web?
I have been using pinnacle studio 9 to compress it into an mpeg format but it makes it really blurry and glitchy.
The sample videos on fotosearch.com are really low quality (800kb for 10 seconds) and its high quality, not blurry and the normal aspect ratio.
Does anyone have any idea what i should do?

www.divx.com

Great quality for the smaller file sizes. I guess you could use Windows Movie Maker to compress it to .wmv, but the smaller you get, the glitchier it gets - you usually don't get that with DivX.
