The third trailer is now out, slightly different style, very short as well... Also at the end of this trailer it say out in spring, that is a miscalulation, it should be out this winter, if all goes to plan...

The effects are really good, but u dont seem to film out of the house, and it seems to me that its about detectives and stuff, so why would they be in the normal house hold?
I realise that half of my movie is going to be in my house, but thats where its set, and it fits in with the storyline. I say this because people are going to start bitching at me for filming inside my house previously.

OK, there is more out of the house apart from some of it, the beggining section was ALL filmed in my house - which sucks a bit - - and we even use it twice for two different locations - which sucks a lot! There is, I know very little outside the house this is because I started filming this film, and finished it, before I joined Matt's site, and joining has improved the quality of my films tons! The locations are crappy, and the fact we reuse them is carppy! But as long as you ignore that, hopefully it will be an OK film in your opinion, when it finaly comes out!

it's been well over five minutes since my last post, what is going on, is the world combusting, am I missing something, is there really anything good enough on at the momement to drag you out of your computer chairs??? Is there? No, so I think you should get down to viewing the forums, and that includes this post. But ok I watched it:
The effects of those fonts where good and that’s about it. The punk song didn’t fit in; it gives you a felling of a combat game like GultyGearX or something like that trailer not like a movie trailer. The little video that was in it didn’t look good the camera was to wobbly or it was out of focus’s that was about it.
Next time dont panic if someone dosent post when you where away for 5 min.

Damn, 5 min...you have high expectations. I usually wait three days for any replies to scripts i post....lazy, lazy people.

But anyways. Is that all one trailer? or is it several? If its several, than theyre ok except for music choice and the amount of times you show that explosion. The music isnt serious enough to fit that film. It sounds like 'perky teen self discovery coming of age comedy' music. Slower, deeper music would fit better i think. And the explosion was just shown too much.

But....if that was all 1 trailer. Then it starts/stops FAR too much. A trailer needs to hit you with a synopsis or a foreshadowing, quickly and precisely. You cant stop it and repeat imgaes like that. But all in all, not too bad.

hmm i dunno.... it was okay but it looks like you used some effects just for the sake of it. not a fan of the shaky camera either. but it looks interesting. dont u have any more explosions?

In the film? No not really, one of a house, which is bad effects cause I can't overlap film clips so i've edited frames, instead, a bit crude… On my HD though I have tons, by the way, have a look at the first, trailer, see what you think…

Just finished watching both trailers. Here is my criticism:

1st Trailer: The music at the beginning was a pain to listen to. You mixed major and minor loops and it sounds bad. There were one too many explosions, and you looped the clip of someone sitting down five too many times.

2nd Trailer: "There is a suspect...there is a gun...people will die...to discover the limit...you must break it." WHAT? lol. These titles don't make sense, and this could be because they are grouped improperly. It sounds like there should be something more after "There is a suspect...there is a gun..." like a title to finish off the phrase. The next titles are ambiguous. You could be saying more than one thing...either "People will die to discover the limit" or "To discover the limit, you must break it."
Also, as was mentioned before, the music didn't fit.

As for the footage in both trailers, it could be much better.

This is just my opinion, you don't have to pay any attention to it.

Sorry if this part is over, Rhys, I believe that's milk with drencrom. Sharpens you up for a bit of the old...ultraviolence.

So, the trailer -- music choice was bad, camera was a bit shakey, explosion stock was overused. I am looking forward to the movie, though.

Learn to use a camera, if you say something like it was my brother then he should be acting and you should be using the camera. I saw the explosion 1 time which was good, the second and third ruined it.

I did not like the first trailer, it was lame. Why did u have just random detonation footage on there anyway? And the re-footage put it made it look lame, even if it was to fit in with the music.
The second one was good though.
I have a question, how old are you Jperson? Just wondering.

Clarence and JackBleur, thanks for the advice and critisim their, I'll take it onboard. Clarence, with the titles I know they're wierd, one element of it was that I was aiming to make it a little bit like thoses crappy american titles on crappy actions (not that this is a crappy american crappy action - oh no! ). But still, that isn't an excuse, suppose...

JackBleur, good to know you are looking forward to it (oh how I like ...) ...

DEDFX, that was me on the camera some of the time... but I have an exuse, a lame one, but still an exuse. The day of filming for the last two thirds had been planned, and just before hand I couldn't find the tripod, I know it's lame, but I couldn't find the tripod, so when the actual film comes out you may notice that in the first third it is steady, then the rest it is all... unsteady! ...

rhys, I agree, a bit, I prefer the second trailer. And the age question? Oooh, that makes you sound like a pedefile, oh well, I'll trust you. And I allready have said this, one year younger than you, 12, thirteen in a about four months...
