Looks like everything is coming together, though I'm pushing back filming one weekend.

Besides the basic equipment web, what else should I add to make it look like these guys have to hump a long way?
Depends on how important accuracy is to you. Lightweight Rucksacks are best, followed by either tropical or ARVN rucksacks (they are actually called such). Real lightweight rucksacks w/ frame are gonna run you alot of money. If accuracy can go by the wayside, ALICE packs loaded down with alot of gear work OK. Plus, they can be had for $10 on ebay. Here's an example of an ALICE substitution:

Note the extra canteens w/ covers, shovel, and full bandoleer (among other things) secured to the pack.

Here's an alice pack that looks a lot like the one in that picture, let me know what you think. I'll be getting some E-tools and bandoleers to strap to myself too, and I was thinking of securing some ponchos and towels. Looks like more canteens would help too though. And maybe I can come across a LAW too.

a LAW?
I believe thats a Light Anti-Tank Weapon. Pretty sure, Epsilon would probably know for sure.

Light Anti-tank Weapon, that's right. It looks like a mini bazooka OD tube you strap over your shoulder. An M79 grenade launcher is a handheld arm that works similar to an M203 with a wood stock.

PRC-10 anyone?
Mainly used in Korea and Early Vietnam, but I still feel justified in getting it; It's 200ish less than the PRC-25 (the eventual replacement around '65)

Well coming soon I have a crate from Epsilon and Moore Millitaria, which I will take pictures. May not get to start heavy duty shooting this weekend, but I'll probably start the scenes where we don't have to weigh ourselves down with gear. Still waiting for the radio.

What are you shooting this on, Alove? The color corrected still looked great, by the way.
