What do you guys think? I've been labouring over this production for a long time, and I've run into many obstacles. It's still not finished. I hope it looks intriguing.
Pretty cool body eh?

Thanks for correcting my bad, BrowCowstudios. My site is:
Temporarily Unavailable
The Tripod page you are trying to reach has exceeded its hourly bandwidth limit. The site will be available again in 2 hours!
Thank you!
This is because I just updated it, and uploaded lots of files. I just want to say Tripod sucks!!! Those bastards already added tons of banners and pop ups that weren't there when I signed up. I must get ahold of some good webspace.
Anyway, I hope you check it out, any feedback is appreciated.

I always had to wait, and wait, to film because my actors were never here at the same time -- then they decided they didn't want to make a zombie movie (they thought it was stupid) and wanted to make a war movie (which i think 12 year olds running around with guns is stupid)Originally posted by foxwood
What changed your mind?
So -- im gonna make something else.
Monofoam is the expanding, insulating foam you find in hardware stores in the paint section. It comes out as this yellowish foam, then expands and hardens. People use it around window frames, etc.
I will post a picture of it, on my movie page before the day is done.
A ten dollar canister was more than enough for my needs.
Don't get it on your skin when it's wet though, it's worse than crazy glue that way.

wonderful stuff, poonhead. those cg characters are pretty much state of the art for an amateur, maybe add some more skin tone and lighting. The trailers very good and hell, yeah, the make up! That ribcage guy is sweet! And how did you do the car running the guy over?
Good stuff, can't wait for the film. Where it be on the tripod website?

Thanks fellas! The car part was done with a dummy; a fully poseable standing dummy, like a giant GI JOE that I built with my brother.
It's edited together with a shot of an actor in costume rolling off a moving car.
I did 5 takes of my friend Paul rolling off the car. It was totally dangerous and stupid. He got quite bruised up. With more editing or a different angle, he could have easily rolled off a parked car or something less dangerous.
Also the dummy was hit at full speed and scratched up the front of the car. The first dummy I ever hit with a car ruined the car's windshield wipers.
I like hitting dummies with cars, but if I could do it over I would do it different. I would do an invisible split screen effect where it looks like the car is about to hit the actor, then I remove the splitscreen at the last minute as it hits the dummy. I think this would freak people out more.
