that was really good, no idea what the story is about but the effects were impressive,

the tornado looked a bit 'marshmallowy'

titling was great, can you explain how you did the explosion again? You put a firework pointing down or something and what firewrok was it?

I agree the tornado looks a bit odd. I built it with the first shot in mind and it looked fine. By the time it came to the closeup it looked a bit weird, and I couldn't be arsed to get my head around it!

Final product probably easter. We only need one more day of filming, it's just that we need the co-director back from university and everyone else to get time off work

The firework was a rocket. Where-as they normally point facing up, so the firework is sent up in the air and explodes, we pointed it in to the ground, so it had nowhere to fly off to, and therefore blew up in the ground.

We did the same in Chemical Ali with cheap little rockets.

I also have to add that this effect looks 400x better at night! You have to get the right rockets though so test a few different brands out. You want ones that emit showers of sparks.

Yeah well it was due for last easter, and then last christmas, but we're 98.87% on for this Easter

If not, we'll probably give up with the apt release dates.
