Canon:XL2 Pros&Cons

Hello

I hear that the canon Xl2 is supose to be great! Although it is expensive I think I could raise enough money for half of one (Great! I call the dark meat) and my dad could loan me the other half.

Please leave comments on Pros and Cons of this camera and other cameras that you might think are worth looking into.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM ONLY! Posters who just say " It is a load of Bulls**t " with out explaining why will be booed at.

3ccd and Interchangeable Lenses
Real widescreen
24p
and many more that I can't think of right now

Cons
I believe even though it is kinda newish it already is starting to get kind of old, with all the new HD and HDV cameras coming out this year.

Maybe you should wait a bit longer and save for the Panasonic HVX200 or even the new XLH1 (that might take a whole lot longer).
But If you only wanna shoot miniDV then..yes this would be a good camera for that.
