Crawling out of the TV ???

Does someone know how they did the crawling out of the TV in Ringu ??

And the crazy walks in japanese films ??

I dont actually know how they did the walks but could they of possibly deleted a frame or two to make it gittery

I think green screening the tv and then the actor is going to be the only way I can think of. On the walk, yeah, delete pieces, speed up, slow down...little flash here and there.

yeh i suppose you coukd greenscreen an actor climbing out of a window frame, wouldn't be too difficult

Have the actor walk backward, then reverse the footage. Looks just downright unnatural and freaky.
