DVD clip capture

Post by Grant »

Hello everyone. I am preparing some lectures for next year and was wondering if anyone knew of a little app to capture sequences from DVDs?

You could use some kind of screen recording software, and play the sequence back while it's recording.

Here's a few:

For Windows: http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp (high quality capture) , http://www.deskshare.com/msr.aspx
For Mac: http://www.macxware.com/candypress/Scri ... product=25

But there's tons out there that can capture high quality video. You'll probably lose some quality in video, since it will probably be in a lower framerate.
