We have not finalized any N. American or UK or Australian deals. We didn't want to show a "work in progress" version of the film. So we haven't SHOWN any of these guys anything yet since we still have one more night to go. I just got in form my 2nd to last night of the Online Edit. We were shooting a web doc explaining what an Online Edit is for the Newbs, so expect that sometime in early '06.
Distributors are a strange group. They try to keep their finger on the pulse of what they think people want to see. Sometimes, if it's cheap enough, they'll buy up smaller moveis with a similar theme and shelve them so they don't sell to competitors and take away business. There are all kinds of reasons to shelve a project, but it sucks for filmmaker who wanted more than a few $$, they wanted their movie to be seen.
HORRORS OF WAR will get released. I'm sure of it. I'm hoping to get it to the SCI FI CHANNEL and it seems like a good fit.
