Ta da! I'd say nothing too special. Enjoy! http://www.savefile.com/files2.php?fid=4531926 And yes, it really isn't worth the 5 minute download (I don't want to compress it, that's for suckers!).

Rep22: Your opener was short and simple with a nice 3D design, plus it was shiny (I’m like a seagull if something is shiny, me likes).

Zacatac: Same applies as above, I liked the lightning carving the letters that was a nice additive.

Fabian: Very cool for something so simplistic (meaning just dots and stuff). A little too long and repetitive in some of it but still pretty sweet.

Ipon: Wow! Hot (literally), that was a really cool effect. Just wow!

Thanks Kentertainment-
I personally like it. Suits me just fine. If I remember correctly, I drew up the logo in Photoshop, then animated it and stuff in ULEAD (i believe) COOL 3D. It was a demo, so I don't have it as a reference anymore, but if I remember correctly that was its title.

WinDog- It's a little long, and kinda stretched out between segments, but overall, i liked it, it was very nice. Is there some sort of significance to the spaceship? Anyhow, the music was great (what was it?), I like that too. Good job.

EDIT-Kent. If I get the time to spend downloading your opener, I'll be sure to let you know what I think! :)

Its does actually fade in use, I don't have it built into the logo, I do that part in final edit.

Here's mine, very simple, I know:

BlackJackDavy tells me I should have some sound; I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

EDIT: By the way, I believe the video preloads before it starts playing if you just open it (as opposed to saving). So it IS doing something, not just sitting there.

I don't believe they are necessary. I've never used a production opener, yet everyone seems to recognize which are mine.

A fancy logo won't help a bad movie. I'd rather spend the time improving the production itself. If your film is THAT impressive, you don't need a fancy intro to be remembered. ;)

Maybe some people simply do it to "brand" their movies, and it doesnt take much time, or any time off of the production of the movie so you are still putting the same amount of effort, sometimes the problem is though that people you dont know will watch the movie, and theyll wodner who did that, theres no name or anything.

I don't know what you're all talking about... that's more complex than most professional logos! It's good though.
