Building Prop Guns

Post by Highlander »

Hey, new member here.

My question is this: does anyone have any links to sites with tutorials on how to build fake guns? I read the tutorial on this site on how to build a fake AK-47, but I need more. Oh yeah, modern day guns.

Thanks.

I wish i knew some too. Get to guns and spraypaint them, it works. I want to make an uzi because its easy. Just use wood and oven hardening clay.

Yes i have not personally seen any other tutorials like the AK-47 one. Even do a search for gun plans on the net and have a go at making your own templates

Thanks for the good suggestions. I'll design some of my own, since I'm pretty handy at wood working and the like, and posts some tutorials of my own.

well you might be able to build one just buy studying a few pictures and diagrams of guns, just see what parts there are and what they can be made out of!

In my oppinion, i cant see the point in building fake guns. By the time you get all the materials ect. You could of bought a fairly realistic fake one. Just recently, i bought 2 AK-47s that look pretty real, for like £3.50 each. Plus i am fairly lazy so i couldn't really be arsed to make them myself. I couldn't find any gun plans on the net, but then again, i am fairly lazy.

EDIT: Sorry for posting a useless post

Its not just you. My friend came back from England, he had a perfect replica of some kind of pistol and it was only $3.

not only britain, but s far as i know most european countries (the further east you go the cheaper) in Romania i can buy plastic realistic looking fake guns for less than a dollar, although some can be near $2.

Yeah, and there is a reason there so cheap. The fall to bits the same day you get them.

ya sure thats if you smash someone in the head with them, i still have a shotgun, an AK47 and a pistol for over 3 years (the pistol for 5) and they are almost perfect condition, and i use them quite often. The do break easily but if you're careful they should last you a while, and if not buy some more LOL

Seas refer to the water mass. Atlantic is the name of the ocean. Therefore it is called the Atlantic Ocean, but you send something overseas. ;)
