well as long as you only took the powder out, and placed it in a seperate container with the with the blood, then nothing bad should happen. as for ignition, uh the best way is with an electric ignition system, you could build a cheap one with small strands of wire

...yet people still somehow get them and crack off enough of em to start two suburban neighborhood fires after July 4th...

well, i suppose i could get bangers or summat for it, cos my friend lives in the middle of nowhere and the place has basicly, no law so he could get some... (living in england and sticking fireworks up my shirt have no relation, i just didnt want to use two diffrent sentences for them.) and anyway, i dont know the law on buyin things that explode. But i had an idea, may not work at all....
Stickin a few caps on the blood pouch and just attach a string fuse to it, set it alight and it will make the caps explode, popping the pouch, right?

Hmmmm, you say OLD films...
If that does't work, couldn't there just be a pouch under my shirt with protection under it, then film it close up, with a BB gun behind the camera(out of view) then just shoot the pouch, no fuse needed...?
Maybe thats a bit dangerous, but if its close enough, it wont hit me in the face. You'd need alot of protection though...? I know, it sounds really really dumb...

Exactly. But I do understand how thay can be really scared about doing it. I was really scared to do it. But after I did it, I realized it's nothing. It doesn't hurt at all. Just make sure you have ear plugs on if you do it. Check out this thread to see my body squib.lethelgirth87 wrote:I don't understand why everyone is against lighting firecrackers off on their bodies! It's super simple. I've done it tons of times and I've never been injured, so prolly stop your whining and just light up.

Professional squibs are gun powder with an electrical charge. In the end, it'll probably cost around $20 each for everything. Typically, you would have a pyrotechnition on the set.crossfire wrote:does anyone know how much buying professional squibs costs?

and i wouldnt mind having an emergency first aid team too! LOL, $20 for 1 squib? thats quite a bit, i guess i can make a proffesional one with a highquality electric charge for about $8. What would you use to protect your skin from burning or injury?
