You mean where you make objects smaller and smaller so that it looks like something is longer?

No i mean like in the moive Grayson he takes a 13 inch spraypainted figurine and sets it up close to the camera and the actor far away so it looks like a big statue.

i like the way they did the effect with superman lifting the tank....

and the most recent example is in Dawn of the Dead where they are playing chess on the rooftop and Ving Rames reaches for the chess piece...
