Why are you doing this scene if it's beyond what you're capable of?

What are you asking?

Bluescreen would be the only way to do it if you don't have a train.
Very few of us do....
Have the person jump off a blue block then put it in the train footage or picture.

Eh?
You might want to find a real train...

It would work and it MIGHT look okay as long as you don't have a long-lasting shot. For instance, a 1-2 second shot of the character jumping out of the train then cut to forcefully landing on the ground may work

If you can use enough tricky angles, you might be able to pull it off jumping from a real train stationary. In past stunts for professional films, they run the train fairly slow, so as the fall won't injure the stuntman, then it is sped up in post.

is there anywhere with a carrage that might let you film? any steam railway exhibitions or alike ? if not you'd have to blue screen it, i'd suggest using several shots which last about a second max. even if it dosent look that good if the audience dosent see it for long enough to take it all in they'll assume it looks better than it does

well thats the perfect way to get half a scene, how do you get the rest once they've kicked you out?

Since your in engalnd ct, go to the national railway museum in york and jump of one of the vans and rolling stock. I tried it something a bit like that exept I was signaling a trian to start off and drive the train. If you get the right angle it loooks good.
