looks pretty good, not a very low frequency response to some others i've seen and signal to noise ratio could be better... but then again its about a thousand dollars cheaper than the other one i've seen http://shure.com/microphones/models/sm89.asp havent used it tho so i couldnt tell u for sure

I wouldn't worry about low end frequency responce unless you are going to be recording music with it. No one talk in that low of an octave so you are safe. Also it might help cut out unwanted frequencies from coming in. Dunno looks pretty good to me.

Also be aware that it uses XLR - if you have a high end camera you're in business, otherwise you will need a matching cable to get to teh mini plug for the cam.
