Research on ww2

Post by Jasonrocks »

I had an idea for a world war 2 film, just an idea, about the 0SS agents. How would go way behind enmey lines to steal blueprints for bombers and assasinate senior nazi officers. Does any one know where I could get some research for the film if you catch me drift?

Go to a good sized library and sit down with history books for a day.

yeah, internet isn't such a good source if you really want objective information.
of course the best would be to talk to someone who actually was in the war but where do you find those people?

Are you kidding me? Internet is a GREAT source for information! You just need to know how to look. You can find those people at veteran office club type things, maybe you even have family who was in the war or know someone who was. As epsilon said, the library is a very good source, and you do have to start somewhere. I don't know much about WWII, but I know how you can learn.

Internet is big, and it filters alot of information. Plus information isn't always reliable when the site is build by amateurs so i think the library is better

Not always, but your doubting the internet way to much! There are TONS and TONS of websites out there, built by war veterans, or offical buildings, or just people who know tons of information about the war. You'll find a lot more information on the internet then you will in one library, and some of the information is more valuable sometimes, as it's comming from first hand experiance!

I tried to go to a renactment group, too young though. I tried to join the home guard reenactment group but too far away.
