Final Cut Audio Question

Post by DEDFX »

I filmed my sister's chorus solo but she's being washed out by the loud piano. She's singing pretty high but the piano is pretty low and bass like. Is there any way for me to me to take a little of the bass/piano out?

There is a window/menu thing somewhere which controls the volumes of all the different frequencies for each track. Can't remember where tho...

You need to notch the audio of the piano. The freqs. in the piano can cross over onto the human vocal range. You need to export the audio track to Sound Track Pro, add the notch filter and drag down the human vocal range.
