Dolly and track questions

Post by TidalFilms » Mon Sep 03, 2007 1:51 pm

At the moment im building my own dolly and track for an upcoming short im working on and so far im having a great deal of success. However i am having difficulties in finding something to use for the track. Has anyone here built there own or know of anyone who has? What's good to use that's ready available from DIY/builders merchant stores?

I need it to be secure and strong, as low price as possible since i need a lot, and i need a solution on how to get curved track. What ive found sound far is plastic plumbing tubes that come in 3 meter length at £1/$2 each. This is great but again its impossible to get corner track. I need at least 4 corner pieces to make a full oval track.

any help you guys can give me is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A bit here, but nothing on curved...I'm not sure how you can do that without metal or specialty pieces.
