setting

Post by kg9491 »

the setting for the scene is supposedly in a parking lot that it "just outside of a maintenance/staff entry of an airport." Two cars need to pull up into this parking lot. the entry should be to a very plain looking building. any suggestions on where to shoot this?

Any number of car parks with small buildings near them. With some careful angles, you could probably get away with it without having to add additional visual queues either on the day of the shoot or in post.

Yeah, down the road, and turn left.

We don't know where you live so we can't be too exact ;) It's a movie though, as long as you get some establishing shots of an airport, and a parking lot (they might be one in the same place, or it might be a parking lot to a shopping centre, doesn't matter) and then you film some people enter a door, the audience can be far too easily fooled that it's all in the same place

Just get a building that could be remotely plosable for what your going for, and maybe put in a sound effect of a plane going overhead. I would be carful trying to get stock footage of an air port yourslef as they are still on edge, we had some people arrested a few weeks ago here for filming the air port. (ok so they got arrested for the sawed off shot gun in the truck, but were stoped because of the filming.) though you can probably find airport stock footage online, maybe from lcoal news we show it all the time here.
