I have a Canon GL2. And there is a mode in the camera called frame mode. Should i use frame mode or NO?

Look in your manual that came with it and if it is just a special feature then use it if you want to.

It records a progressive scan instead of an interlace one, which is good, as film is recorded progressively. It also gives it a more cine-like gamma curve. If you're making movies, I'd personally use this feature.

im buying a GL2 next month I cant wait!
RE: Canon GL2
Yeah use it if you're intending to get a filmy effect. If you're filming a holiday video or a wedding or anything like that then don't bother with it.

RE: Canon GL2
Hmm frame mode is a simulation its not true progressive, same withe the Canon XL1s. Only the XL-2 has true progressive (and this is easy to check guys...)
