RE: Mic
I have a Rode boom and pole. Their range is solid see if you can match your mic with their poles

I recommend a K-Tek boom pole.

I have a K-Tek KE-110CCR Boom pole. It's extends to 9.2 feet, it's internally wired with a coiled cable, and has a side exit.

You're also going to need a shock mount. I have the Audio Technica AT8415.

I have all my audio equipment except for the microphones. I have a Beachtek DXA-8, boom pole, shock mount, windscreen, headphones, and XLR cable. I'm going to get my first microphone hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I'm going to get an Audio Technica AT4053a hypercardioid microphone for indoor recording. Then in the next couple of months, I'm going to be getting an Audio Technica AT4073a shotgun microphone for outdoor recording.
I hope this info helps you!
