The new MPEG2 capturing cameras

There are several new cameras that are using the MPEG2 format to store the video data. Not only the HDV cameras, but also eg. the new JVC Harddrive recording Camera Everio (GZ-MG30 etc.).

Although I used to read HDV standarts STILL use the stupid 4.1.1 (and 4.2.0 for PAL) format, I wonder if other cameras, eg. the Everio may use something more chroma-key-friendly, like 4.2.2, or even something higher like 4.4.4.

Any informations around? thanks.

EDIT - uh, I just used to read the official PDF from JVC. All "Everios" up to the top model GZ-MC500 use only 4.2.0 Color resolution recording format.

Are there any other solutions for 4.2.2 or 4.4.4 ? I mean something cheap, not the professional Digibeta stuff that is too expensive.
Or is it the best solution to use HDV in progressive Mode, then downsample it to MiniDV PAV or NTSC resolution to get "some kind of" 4.4.4?

DVCPro50 uses 4:2:2 but you're talking $20k cameras too, nothing in teh sub 10K range I know of...
