Just payed for a new camera its a Panasonic NV-GS250.

ive seen them at street price for around 2 grand, it seems like a handy camera. Let me know how the low-light and the audio options are, im looking into getting another camera, and those are things ive had trouble with in the past.

I too have that camcorder. I think it is excellent! When you upload at DV quality, it looks very nice. Compared to my PVGS12, its a BIG improvement. It almost made me sick(in a good way!) when i first watched the video it produced. Looked very nice. It does get a little grainy in low light, but it still has a good picture. Overall I love it, and think it was a great investment. I hope you like it too!

I'm hoping that the 3 CCD will help alot with the colour depth. I'm not too concerned with the low light operation as we are quite used to having to light scenes.

I think we're getting either the PVGS250 or the GS400. They both sound great.

wondering if any of u guys hv experience with the new GS 180. im going to buy my first cam but the 180 is so new that i cant get any real tested review by dv users (except from some specs review some wsite did).
