WE made a jib thingie take a look

WE just made our own jib thingie and tested it last night, take a look input from fellow underdogs would be nice.

its good but to be honest why would you go to all the bother? I bought one similar for about $50 more and it came with a case and a motorised pan head. And it was 14ft long. It give amazing results

Because it is $50 cheaper! Plus, you can do more with it in terms of customizing towards the job you need it for. I like it.

Quite the contrary! Stick to What You Know has always looked like a bustling forum to me. Servers tend to pause and get suspended when it pulls too much bandwith, or too many viewers!

Just check it periodically and it should be back up again shortly. You should see the widespread panic when MattHawkins goes out for a couple days! :)

Oh, I've seen it happen twice before and everyone freaked. After a little while, we bombarded Grant's forum. :)
