Hi
I am relativley new to film making, this forum and editing. i have a jvc analog camera, a pinnacle systems captre card and adobe premier 6.0. My problem is that i can not capture in adobe. does adobe only capture dv or does it do analog too? if not how do i get around this?

passing the ball to one of the old timers.. I've never touched analog cameras, because im young.. the Mini DV generation! ;)

I have never used the Premiere capture system personally. I have always used my capture cards native software. Have you tried this? Then all you do is import the captured clips it into your Premiere project and work on them there.
Your capture card should have some really good purpose built software with it, with lots of option etc etc. Does the card have analogue AV in?

thanks man that does the trick, only the frame rate is realy slow and choppy, how do i change it?
