New Camera

Post by DEDFX »

I might be getting a Vx2000 camera with 2 (12 hour) batteries and a 40 watt light. He wants $1,200 for it. Does this seem like a good deal? I have seen many skate videos made with it, but I want to be making movies with it, with that film look...

Thats not a bad deal at all for that cammera, I got mine back in 02 and payed $3000 for it, but then it was new. But thats a good deal for a few year old top end 3CCD cam. And you know that "film look" with video is more a post and lighting thing.

DONT'T BUY FROM BESTPRICE CAMERAS!! The whole websites a scam, go to google and type in best price cameras review, many people got ripped off when they bought from there. It's so cheap because they may not sell you something like a warranty or a lens and will make you pay much more than the regular price for it.

Yeah I guess I could change it in post.

Just look them up on resellerratings.com. Besides, why even bother with a GL2 (obvious scam) for $800 when for just 150 more you can get a HV20 from B&H, and be able to do more than the GL2.
