Recording Sound Problem
I'm filming a movie and now I bought an external shotgun mic but none of the two Mini DV cams I have mic inputs, so I'm I screwed? Record with a laptop?(pain in the a** when editing though) Or there a way to plug into the camcorder? Any help will be much appreciated!

Sounds like your screwed unless you can find a drill and make a input.

You can buy XLR adapters. What type of camcorder do you own?

Or buy a mini disc player. I bought this one recently, for cheap - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1
They have superb sound quality.
