Ripping sounds from dvd

Post by freed »

Anyone know how i could rip a sound from a DVD from my DVD drive and convert it so it's a WAV file or something similiar to use.

Any tutorials or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I think it must be legal if you own the DVD and your movie is not solf for money.

this is what i do with any video clips that i wish to use the sound of....i use windows movie maker and import the clip. I put the clip into the AUDIO track, and chop it down to the section i want. then if you go to file, click save movie, and u can save it as a wav, or other formats...

so i guess just rip the movie to the hard drive, or rip just the section u need, then use it in that process. lemme kno if that works out for ya. :)

Mic the speakers? Nonono, that's lame. Do it right. Plug the Audio cables from the dvd player into your recording device. Better yet, just capture the audio on your computer.

I use FRAPS, then throw it into moviemaker into the audio slot, and then edit it and save it as a WMA>
