Does Anyone else find this?........

Post by Theshapecool »

After I've made a film, during the post production and editing, I love doing the sound fx for it...I use acid pro 4 and record all the sounds I need using various things in my bedroom. I mean sound fx CD's are angels but you will allways need a slightly outlandish sound, and basically your not allways gonna get it on a CD. Its just interesting recording what you need and altering the pitch/bass ect to match your peice. Lately I've had to record all the gory sounds for our upcoming project 'Friday the 13th:Bloodline' (trailer coming soon) so thats been fun, but a bit of a b**ch aswell. If anyone has any links to anywere I can get hold on gore sounds, I would be very greatful, Tell me what unique/odd sounds you have had to record yourself because no CD contains them,thanks..

Well I guess it would depend on what you have. lol I have Sound Ideas' series 6000 liscenced sound library ( 40 cd's ) so there isnt too much that isn't on there. I've just had to record little s*** like here and there.
One thing i don't like is when some one sets up a website and offers free sound effects and then they have them in like 22khz sampling rate and like 8 bit. Then it's like , what good is that. Sounds like a** to me.

Cant wait for your movie though.

Always a fan of the horror.
