Profanity Beep

Post by zegolf »

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the sound that overlays a voice track whenever anyone says a profanity on TV.

Thanks!

As an alternative have someone scream "Profanity Beep!!" and dub that over the swear. Honestly though, I have just silenced the audio at that point in the footage, like in some edited music videos.

I've searched for everything, including "Beep" "Bleep" "Swear word beep/bleep" "Profanity Beep/Bleep" etc. I was kind of hoping someone would be able to provide a direct link.

www.ahaeuser.com/ed/sound/beep.aif

If you need it to be a wav I can convert it. I used Cacophony to make it, I don't remember how exactly, I did it a while ago.
