Knife Sound FX

Ok so me and my friends are making the final movie in our trilogy and there is a knife fight like in " The Hunted " We need good authentic SFX because we dont want cheesy fight or sound. We are still in pre-production but we need to be oranixed... help.

Ok download something like 'wavepad' for free at www.download.com, then hook up a mic and get 2 kitchen (butchers) knives, this works perfectly, and if your editing you can watch what you have filmed while you are doing it, so the sounds are in time, this works perfect, I used it before on an old Radio program, give it a go, but be careful, be sure to ask for assistance from an adult when using sharp knives, lolol, kidding.
