Sword Sounds?
Sword Sounds?I just want some sword clashing sounds...

If you look hardly at www.findsounds.com you can find some decent ones, That's what I've done in the past but I've never done a film where the sword sfx are a huge part.

Try recording clanging long, narrow sheets of metal together.

Or just go to a medeival festieval and ask them to record sounds for them.
Only thing is, deadlogics gone now so theres not much point in posting here. Unless someone else needs sword sounds anytime soon, which is why i'm suggesting the fact of going to a festieval. I've done it before, they were all really nice, but I didn't think of asking for sounds, nor did I have equipment with me, nor did I need the sounds.

Really, an mp3 portable recorder and a $30-70 radio shack microphone will do fine for sound effects.
