New film, BLACKBIRD RISING

Post by joe »

Hey everyone.

I recently finished a very short film entitled, BLACKBIRD RISING. It is a 2.5 minute short film exploring the Battle of Good Vs. Evil throughout the ages.

This film stars Sabien Minteer and Lance Hanson, with music composed by Bryan Bogatz. Written/Directed by Joe Boyle.

Can't you jsut put it on YouTube, it is likely that more people will watch that way (I know I will) especially if you can't be bothered to download it (i know i am), just to watch it. It looks intresting, but please upload it to YouTube. Thank you.

Hey Joe, that was very nice. It was fast, action packed and mysterious. Excellent for such a short film.

The actors were very good, great locations, great cinematography and excellent special effects blood spatter.

Well done. I give it 9.5 out of 10.

That was amazing. The only part that didn't work for me was the bird at the end. It didn't look real enough. But besides that...wow. Just...wow.

This was shot on a Sony TRV950. I usually try to get my colors to look the right way when I shoot, so I don't do that much correction in post. If it's needed, I just use the tools in Premier 5.

My dolly is a PVC track dolly that I made a few years ago.

Thanks for taking a look everyone!

Good s***. Well shot, well edited, fight at the end looked like it took a while to plan out and organize. I like the swastika tattoo on the man's arm, was a nice touch.
