Special Effect Test

Post by Skanza »

I recently switched to Sony Vegas from Adobe Premiere, and it certainly is easier to use, and appears to have a quite similar power to edit.

I applied the Chromo Key on this video to remove the white and blue background (the dirt explosion and fire explosion are two separate clips). However you can see the outlines (especially on the HI RES version)and still make out around the clips i edited in. Is there a way to get rid of the background completely? Is Chroma Key the best to use for this?
Regards.

for the white, its best to use the luma key.

for the blue, try the bluescreen key.

that's the best you can get out of premiere for the two backgrounds

Whoops.

Does vegas have any of that?

If not, why switch?
