touching music

Post by kene555 »

In my upcoming film, the protagonist's mentor leaves him.

I need a song that starts out slow/soft with a guitar maybe, that transitions, becoming louder with a drum beat. something heartfelt or inspirational. again, starts out slow, ends with a bang.

any ideas?

Well if you don't need original music, I remember the scene in Star Wars Episode I where Anakin is leaving his mother...there is a touching scene with him talking to her where the music is soft, I think swelling strings, and then as he finally walks away there is a big crescendoing cymbal roll and it goes into "May The Force be With You"--rather epic I think.

However, if possible having original music would be very rewarding and you could tailor-make it to fit the exact timing and emotions of your film.

Ok, maybe a song that is like "Before the dawn" by Evanescence

it starts out soft, then moves into a more powerful part

anything out there like that?

and does anyone know the song that starts in the middle of this remix?

The song you're hearing in the middle of the mix with the drums and such might be "What's Left of Me" by Nick Lachey...wonder why that's in an LOTR/Star Wars remix.
