Those aren't what I'm talking about, yes some movies you can call "magnifico!" but I'm talking about the really touching emotional movies like, The Truman Show, Forest Gump, Saving Private Ryan.

Couldn't you have just said the films that get to your emotions? Saving Private Ryan is not really emotional, unless you actually served in World War II, but I did find the beginning and end emotional.

Magnificent to me is something that just looks stunning, like Citizen Kane or Seventh Samurai.

The story: "those we do not speak of." I thought that was really dumb. And the red guys' costumes, they looked really fake.

That was just the begining of the story, it forms into a kind of love story.

Not really........ The story is just really weak.

"The Village is not a horror movie. It's a period piece, and a love story." - M. Night Shyamalan "Those we do not speak of" are just a part of the story to explain how the Villagers are kept out of the woods. It's very emotional, if you watch the whole thing...and it is a love story.

There's only 1 or 2 horror elements, it's a good movie because of the story?
