the apprentice? is it fake Donald Trump

Post by nigel101 » Fri Oct 22, 2004 8:09 pm

hi

I just watched the entire Donald trump the apprentice series.
It finished today. All of the whole show seemed real, but at the end. If any of you have seen it the boarding room walls just get removed and there’s a massive audients. And then the winner goes down stair where there’s a brand new car. Like its all a con the whole series. I.e. scripted!!.

What do you think?

no that is the famous transition used also for SURVIVOR. The last tribal council/boardroom looks like it is still onset then it pulls back or in this case pulls apart to reveal a huge live audience.
Now remember this is a "reality show" and yes parts of it , including drama would be contrived at times

yeah it just really was disappointing when it looked like everyone new what to say and how to act. at the end like it was all fake.
I did think big brother was a con but I suppose there would be no point in that as its all "live". But I just thought you could do reseach to see it donald trumps two side kicks work for him.

yes but funny how it is called "reality TV" when the situations are staged and far from real life lol. I guess the real world and events are just too boring lol.

I dought it's fake, with all of Donald's stupid qualities it has to be real.

QUALITIES
1. That little hand flip thing when he fires people
2. His cotton candy hair

I love the whole premise. Apparently I live in an alternate dimention because the "Reality" I see on the "Reality" TV is just a bunch of 18-23 year old attractive people trapped on a desert island in nothing but their skivvies, but then, once a week, this guy flies in on a hellicopter and asks them to eat a bug, and if they do, they get a Coke

I loved The Rebel Billionaire, that show was the best, that and The Amazing Race.

All other reality shows can go to hell.

Its awsome (the smilely :P). But not to get off-topic. The Amazing Race was a pretty good show. Altho it is hard to come into a reality show and just kno whast goin on. U have to watch the WHOLE thing pretty much to get whats happening. That why i dont like most of them. And XeFx, i hated the Rebal Billionare. No offense.

we are up to the Amazing Race over here with the wrestling couple in it. Also a scary couple where one guy is really abusive and I am sure off camera violent to his blonde girl (who looks like she has had facial surgery maybe to cover up the scars lol)

They just had that couple over here on "The Dr. Phil Show" ( TV shrink ) and it turns out they're not as bad as they appeared on The Amazing Race, or at least that's what they claim. She did say however that since the show she's had people stop her on the street and ask if she is OK, as well as family members...

The bachelor is terrible! I think that Survivor is the best too.

the best one i have ever watched was Paridise Island on Channel 5 on UK TV.

Best UK one has to be Big Brother. I did like the USA apprentice apart from the end it looked so scripted.

i think some of these er programs are staged and they ust ry to make it look real. SAS are you... the car blowingup, eceryone knew that was fake but the camera made it look real. apart from the close up of the mine.)
