Ok, #1 I'm not taking it apart, and #2 I searched the entire net, and called my sister inlaw, shes called the "tv lady" and she told me to do the same thing the manufacturer did, and it didn't work, so basically, I think I'm screwed.

If you do end up taking it apart, remember NEVER, NEVER, NEVER touch the tube!!!! EVER! It is a huge capacitor which means 120 volts (or 240 not like you can tell the difference) will go through your body. Best case scenario you will die. Worst case you will suffer and then die. Maybe you'll think twice about this...
