Information any potential script writer will need.....

Post by marktut »

This thread is for those who are seeking a script writer to write them a script.
This is sort of information any potential writer will need to know:-

1) He will need to know what cast members you have access to, gender etc
If you want to play roles that you are to young for well thats ok if this is only
going to be an amateur film.
Don't expect to show it to anyone beyond this forum and for them to be impressed
though.

2) What locations you have access to, this can include CGI locations if you are skilled
with computers.

3) What props you have access to, can buy if necessary.

4) What physical effects you can do + physical stunts, eg do your cast have any
martial arts skills, what techniques are they good at.

5) What CGI/special effects are you capable of doing.

6) Once you have told someone all of this then you can discuss what type of film you
would like to do and how long you want it to be.
If not paying this writer though don't expect him to write you anything longer than
a SHORT film.
Ths will be probably between 5 to 15 mins, possibly up to 30.
