But if you ever plan to try and sell your script to a studio you sure as hell better have it perfictly formated which is somthing that word will not do.

Yeah but, if you know how to set it out proffessionally, which is quite easy, you can. I prefer to use my own layout personally cause i find it alot easier to read. But thats just me.

I make my scripts with Word, and it is pretty darn close to matching Final Draft layouts. And if I am selling professional scripts to producers, then I would definately buy something like Final Draft. But until those days come, Word does fine. Little slower, but still looks professional. You just have to make your own standard settings for it. That's the trick.
