Printer Problems...

Ok, here's one for the techi bods among us.

My printer is printing everything with a Blue tone.

so which cartrage is empty?

It is an Epson c64.

(and its no use asking the ink checker.....)

Usually means your black ink is empty if its printing in other colors.

Well, if any colours aren't printing, it means that those have ran out

i know, i am trying to pinpoint what colour is out. Everything has a blue haze.

The colours in it are

Black,
Magenta,
Yellow,
Cian

Have you set a colour profile in some software or onto your printer driver? Perhaps it's not correctly set.

If the yellow is coming out with a blue haze, then it'll be looking green.

If you want to know what colour is out, why don't you just print out some coloured squares? Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black!

Do it in Microsoft excel if you don't have a graphics program. Or even more basic, just print some coloured text in those colours.

If you printer uses a multi-colour cartridge and black, just replace the colour cartridge if one of the colours has run out!
